Dumbo M&G?

I'm sure we all have seen the Fantasyland opening celebration video, just curious since we saw the debut of the new Dumbo character, has anyone seen him in the park yet? Clearly looking my avatar you can see I, and my son, are pretty big fans of the character and his favorite ride.

We are going to check it out this come Feb and it would make his day to see Dumbo in person. So yeah any rumors or sightings as of yet?

Ah well that's disappointing, imo would help bring the Storybook Circus alive even more since he is ya know, a big component of it and they can't have real circus animals. Maybe once the clowns lose their appeal we will see him lol

I think a Dumbo meet n greet in StoryBook Circus wouldn't be too bad. The only thing is, they're building alot of m&g's lately :/

I was really surprised to see the Dumbo character out. I didn't think one existed in the parks. Is it new, and was it made just for the ribbon cutting ceremony?

I think it would be more fun to have Dumbo walking around as a surprise character in Storybook Circus just to add some streetmosphere here and there. He could accompany the silly Giggle Gang on their jaunts and wave to people and run around here and there. That would be fun.

Ah okay never knew he was in the parade as we don't tend to watch them after we have seen them once or twice, may need to do that this time around and hope for a sighting.

Would be nice to see more rare characters show up around the park though!

Unfortunaly,he's not in the Electrical Parade at Magic Kingdom. He was in the DCA version before it was refurbished in 2009.

No one knows yet. Many are waiting to hear because it could mean a trip to WDW if they bring out a lot of rare characters. Knowing WDW, they won't have anyone all that rare and Disneyland will do a great job with it.

Not really a fan of the idea of a Dumbo M&G.
It's ok for some special occasions, to be seen from a certain distance, but the costume doesn't look very good from up close. The proportions are wonky and Dumbo shouldn't be walking on 2 legs (yes, I know there are several characters who have the same problem, Dug and Pluto to name a few)

The more M&Gs, the fewer people in line at the rides and attractions. I'm actually looking quite forward to the opening of Princess Fairytale Hall. It will eat up GOBS of people in Fantasyland and we may actually get to ride things like Peter Pan again, without waking up while it's still dark outside.
