So I just called Disney to get pricing. They quoted me $1180.16 for 8 nights at Pop Century. Almost $150 a night. They quoted me $1211.64 for 8 nights at AOA LM room. Thinking for sure we will go with AOA. Thoughts??? Pros and cons of it versus Pop? We've stayed at Pop and loved it.

PRO for POP- POP any where you stay will be a closer walk to a BUS or food than LM
PRO FOR LM- LM is new and I would love to stay there
PRO FOR LM- It's Cheaper why not do it!

See the walk worries me a little. We are used to walking to Pops food court from the 80s building so that is okay. Three or 4 days we will be heading to a breakfast at another location.

AoA gets my vote. We've stayed there many times now. We only stayed in LM one time. We like the suites because of the space, kitchenette and two bathrooms. The rooms in the LM section are very tiny, but they are so much cleaner than POP. We stayed at POP for the first time last month and won't do it again. We loved the food court and the size of the bathroom, but that just doesn't make up for the cleanliness and seeing a huge rat outside our room. I know they can be anywhere, but this guy was right at home running across from the pool area to the bushes by the rooms. I simply can't stay there again.

maybe it was Mortimer?

Okay seriously, I am interested in peoples answers too. I am renting DVC points and have decided to drive down the night before and stay at a Value... just trying to figure out which one.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't the prices that are coming out now just the basic prices (ie, before discounts are released)? If so, I would go ahead and put a deposit down for the hotel you prefer, and then make your final decision once you know how potential discounts might impact the price difference. As long as there are rooms available for the discount offerings, you can easily swap rooms.

Completely possible. I was just shocked because that was pricing for Christmas week this year. It may be better this way though because I will save for the higher prices.
