Duckburg in WDW?

Okay so I got this thought from another thread proposing another "new" Toontown for Magic Kingdom. Was anyone else a fan of the Ducktales cartoon? How about building Duckburg instead? Uncle Scrooge, Donald, and the boys don't get enough love if you ask me. You'd get the same feel as you would in Toontown and you could incorporate most of the core Disney characters. From what I remember other types of animal/characters played roles in the cartoon. Not just ducks.

I'd say go with the tri-city area of Duckburg, Mouseton and St. Canard rather then just Duckburg. Gives you the whole Mickey cast to work with, plus you could have an awesome Darkwing Duck E-Ticket.

I think this would be nice but highly unlikely. Ducktales is so old school, and I doubt they'd spend money on something that people today barely know. Speaking of I used to love that little show in Mickey's Starland. But i do think an area in mgm labeled toontown would be nice. Like a plussed version of the Disneyland one.

Except Duckburg and Mouseton have been around since the 1940s in comics and animation.

But are they relevant now? I'd love for them to take Disneyland's toontown and plus it, but it seems unlikely with all the money going to next gen stuff.

Yeah, but not excessively so. Besides, was Three Caballeros really relevant when they put them in Epcot or that new Disneyland parade? Or Song of the South and Splash Mountain?
Duckburg and Mouseton offer a lot of opportunities for attractions based on the Mouse and Duck worlds from some adventures with Scrooge and the Nephews possibly involving the money-bin and beyond to Mickey squaring off against the Phantom Blot, Pete and other criminals or getting caught up in various adventures.
Would be great to see more following of Warren Spector and Steve Davidson's notions of bring back stuff from the past alongside the new or heavily marketed stuff.

Can you say 5th gate? I think you got enough there for an entire park :D

Yes yes YES!

If only...The classic Disney characters could get a much deserved dark ride and Scrooge and Darkwing would become relevant in the parks again!
