We've always had good experiences at Planet Hollywood (4 times) but I know that it is not everyone's cup of tea.

Have you considered hoping a bus to one of the resorts? (or driving if you have a car  )

One of our best meals was at the Kona Cafe for a late dinner. We finished up just in time to catch wishes through the big glass windows (and they pipe in the music so it was extra special). It was nice to stand (or sit if you want - I think the seats are for the Tambu Tambu lounge just outside of Ohana's) in the air conditioning with no crowds and have a great straight on view of the fireworks.

You could always hit a resort -- or even the Boardwalk. Cape May, Ohana, 1900 Park Fare, Whispering Canyon, Boma, ESPN Club, How come there are so many AWESOME places to eat?
