Driving to WDW

So we are driving basically from New Orleans this coming December. Its been many years since Ive drown to the world. Is there an alternative to the Florida Turnpike and its tolls? Are the tolls not really that bad? Im sure they are not all manned booths, so they do accept cash right not just the electronic pass? We are staying at Pop so that may determine the way we get on property.

If you take I-75 in Florida to the turnpike, there is a $3.00 toll before getting off exit 267A for State Road 429 (which is the fastest way to Pop Century). Riding 429 before getting off at the Disney exit is another $1.50. So $9 for a round trip. And you can pay cash. The express pass allows you to breeze through without stopping.
