Driving to WDW from Ft. Lauderdale

Any help from you local folks would be appreciated here. I'm driving to WDW in a few weeks from Fort Lauderdale (Port Everglades after returning from a cruise). This is the first time I'll be driving this route, so my Rand McNally directions recommend taking the Turnpike to I-4.

Any tips or suggestions for a headache-free drive? Construction, speed traps, etc.? Thanks much! :wave:

I recommend taking the Turnpike to the Osceola Parkway and then taking the Osceola Parkway west....right into Walt Disney World.
