driving from I-10

This december will be the first time I've driven to WDW since the Western Way opened. My questions is on, Sunday afternoon will it save that much time on my way to POFQ?

Unless you're in a hurry for some reason, I would without question take the 429 to the western entrance.

It gets you off the god-awful turnpike a little sooner and keeps you off of hideous I4 completely.

Plus, the 429 is a very pleasant drive with very light traffic. And you can get your Disney vacation started early by looking off the the east and seeing the taller Disney structures in the distance.

Thanks. I had a feeling time and mile wise it was the same. I-4 can be a parking lot most times. Do you guys think that on Sunday afternoon it would be?

I was planning on doing western way. I just wanted to make sure it was worth it. On a related note are there some cheap hotels on western way, like a winngate?
