Driving and parking in MK and AK

I'm planning a one day trip to MK and AK in June. How much is it to park? I've never had a car within WDW, usually use resort transportation. Are there directions/signs clearly marked to help commuting from one park to the other? Any help would be great!

$15/day - covers both lots just keep your receipt. Unless you have an AP [non-seasonal], then it's free.

Signage on property is horrible. GPS helps but if you don't have it, the run between AK and MK isn't too bad. The signage doesn't give much warning before it's time to turn, but IIRC it's only one turn each way.

Parking is actually $14 per day plus tax (keep the receipt for free parking at the second park). And I totally disagree about signage being horrible. It's actually very good just follow the signs and you will get to AK with no problem at all. It's just follow the road out of MK until you see a sign telling you to turn for AK and keep going until you hit the AK entrance. Have no idea how that signage could in any way be called horrible.

Word of warning about the signs, if it says "take the next right" and you can see a place to turn close to that sign, don't turn there. They mean the next one after the one right ahead. This will make sense to you when you are there. We had to backtrack a couple of times before we realized what we were doing wrong.

In my experience, if you happen to miss one sign, a bus blocks your view or you simply don't see it, you're screwed. In a lot of cases there is one sign and only one to tell you where to turn. In my view that's horrible signage.

You're entitled to disagree.

It's very easy to get from the AK to the MK or vice-versa. And if you somehow miss the turn, there is always another. Before you leave Disney property, there will always be a sign saying "All guest areas" so you don't leave.

To get from the AK to the MK, you make one left turn. And the signage is obvious. To get from the MK to the AK, you take an exit on the right. It is marked, too.
