DreamWorks and Disney split?

(Reuters) - DreamWorks Studios, the film company co-founded by Steven Spielberg, will split from Walt Disney Co (DIS.N) after the release of his film, "The BFG," the Hollywood Reporter said, citing people familiar with the matter. What does this mean or is Spielberg trying a power play using UNI? the news item goes on to say he is talking with UNI for a distribution deal.

to be honest I didn't know they had the deal in the first place.

Not a big deal at all, Touchstone has been the distributor for ten of their films over the past 5 years and Disney has only partnered with them for the upcoming BFG.
