Dream Vacation

If you could go to WDW with no time or money constraints and have a dream vacation what would your vacation plans include? I have always dreamed of being able to go without having to worry about money or getting back for work. Where would you stay, eat, play, buy and who would you take with you?

I would stay in the big suite at the Polynesian and stay there for ever. I would just book the room for life and then I would just get an AP every year and I would go to every place to eat and shop at every shop. I could see it now....

FYI... This might get moved to another part of the forum.

I've never stayed at the GF so I would definitely give that a try for the first week, Concierge level room of course. Then on to Concierge Floor at Contemporary for a week and then to Poly Concierge for a week. I would proceed to stay at each deluxe resort for a week at a time until I had visited all of them. As far as eating, I would dine at all the restaurants I haven't yet visited but saving time for dinner during fireworks at the Castle. Taking with me would be my son, husband, brother, sister and brother-in-law, my husband's sister, her husband and my 3 nephews who have never been yet. Also accompanying us would be 2 cousins, my 2 best friends and their families. What a great question you posted goofymom.

Hmmm ... this would be fun.

First, I would take my husband and my girls - and then I'd add my mother in law and my mother ... someone has to watch the kids while the DH and I are checking out Disney's nightlife!

We'd stay at the Grand Floridian at one of the 3 concierge suites they have available. Oh what the heck, money is no object you say? Then we'd take all 3.

I'd say a month would be a perfect amount of time - or actually from Thanksgiving Day to right after the first of the year so we could experience the entire holiday season at WDW.

But since the monorail doesn't go to everywhere, I think we'd need some private transportation from the GF to every park. Then while we're in each park, we'd each get a rickshaw to carry us from attraction to attraction and just to wander around. (And since I'm living in a dream world now, my rickshaw would be powered by Ricky Martin.)

I think I'm enjoying this a bit too much ...

If money was no Object I would stay at the GF first, then Poly, then the Yacht Club. The best room available in each for about a week each. And I would rent out the Magic Kingdom for a few hours for myself and Fiance. And Maybe some family if they wanted to come down.

hard decision, first I would get the whole family, get rooms at either the GF or the contemporary, with magic kingdom view, book for 2 weeks, and rent a van. do all the disney parks, all the universal parks, bush gardens, seaworld and kennedy space center, and book a special party with the entire family with mickey and minnie. my wife has 8 brothers and sisters, their wives andf girl frinds, 1 niece, her mom, my mom and dad, I have a brother and a sister and their spouses, and there are a few others, we would make a group of like 30 people.

I've given this a lot of thought, but I'll keep the post short =b

A week in a suite @ the GF, with dinner one night @ V&A. A dinner or two @ the CA Grille (I've been there before and had the perfect window seat w/ a castle view); and I'd definitely put in some time @ the GF Spa. Of course I'd hit the parks, and PI a few times. I figure this would have to cost...let's see...probably $15,000-$20,000 with all the expenses. Maybe I could sell my car a dozen times over =b

Well my dream holiday would start at home; I would be picked up by a Limo and driven to Manchester Airport. I would fly First Class from Manchester to Orlando with Virgin Atlantic. Upon arriving I would have a limo take me to the Grand Floridian, where I would have the best suite there is (Concierge of course) hopefully they look over the Magic Kingdom. I would spend 4 weeks in Orlando in around May time of year.

As far as meals go - Breakfast in bed (fruit etc and coffee), lunchtime would be a snack (chicken strips/burger/ice cream yum!) and for dinner, I would eat in as many restaurants as possibly especially at World Showcase, and the resorts V&A, Californian Grill etc

I think by having a longer holiday, you don’t need to rush around as much, its not easy getting to Disney World :-( I would do some "different" activities like boating in the Seven Seas Lagoon, horse riding, golf and backstage tours - the things people over look when at Disney.

Towards the end of the stay, it’s another limo to Disney Cruise for 5 nights, definite a must for the dream holiday.

I would obviously have unlimited baggage allowance so I could take home loads of souvenirs.

The thing that would really top of the holiday, would be to get married to the man of my dreams there……

Not a bad idea..........the only thing I'd change is to pay Disney to limit the number of guests entering the park which I wanted to visit on any given day (a bit like Discovery Cove) this means I wouldn't waste time waiting in lines

I would fly all my aunts, uncles, cousins, and grandparents down to WDW. Plus my boyfriend and my whole group of friends. Then we'd stay at the GF for about a month spending as much time at any of the parks. I'd also buy every single souvenier that I want.

I'd have then build a suite at Cindarella's Castle for me & DH!!

Seriously, it would have to be at the Grand Floridian and then the Poly.

I would schedule a manicure and pedicure every other week, with a DAILY massage in my room. Oh, okay, if you insist I will go over to the spa myself.

I would have dinner booked at Victoria & Alberts several times a week, and share bottles of their 20-year old Port at hundreds of dollars a bottle and pick out one wine per meal from their extensive wine cellars.

Character breakfasts at Cindy's Castle every morning is a must.

I already posted but after talking to my brother I want to change my dream vacation. With the travelers mentioned in my earlier post, I would do Disney Around the World. Starting at WDW, I would spend 3 weeks visiting parks and staying at Poly, Contemporary and GF concierge level rooms. Then on to Disneyland, for a week and do both parks. I would then travel to Disneyland Paris and visit both of those parks staying approximately 2 weeks. Afterwards on to Tokyo and visit the parks there for 2 weeks. I would then come back to WDW with a cruise on the Disney Cruise line. All accomodations would be concierge level, eating at all the best restaurants and attending all the hard to get PS like Cindy's for breakfast.

If $$$ were no object, I'd be at the Contemporary - Tower room, MK view of course! - unlimited length of stay cause I'm not sure how long it would take me to get bored, but I do know it would be a while!

Also, I'd finally get to visit all of the resturants and buffets ya'll are always talking about...since $ is no object, I wouldn't have to worry about the fact that I don't eat! :D
