Dream Maker Prince and Princess Plan

Just a bit of advice for those of you considering that particular plan. When we decided to go to Disney, we chose the Prince and Princess Dream Maker package. The reason was simple--the additional cost was approximately $104, for which we received $50 Disney Dollars, a character breakfast (for three), and special seating at Beauty and the Beast and Playhouse Disney at MGM, as well as Lion King, Tarzan Rocks, Flights of Wonder, and Pocahontas at AK. Essentially, after factoring the dollars and breakfast, the seats were free. What we did not know (and what is not mentioned on the Disney website) is that the seats are available for only a limited number of shows. Further, the website says "advanced reservations required". What it should say is that priority seating can be made up to 90 days in advance, and that unless you call well in advance (more than 30 days) your chances of getting a seat at one of the more popular shows on an early open day for that park are limited. You cannot make the reservation for seats less than 24 hours in advance. The benefit, however, is that for most of the shows you can show up a lot later than you would have to if you just walked up.

What if you have a family of five?? Also Tarzan is being downsized, so you can forget that show. Where is the Character Breakfast at? And you can usually walk into most of those shows with a minimal wait if you plan right.
