Dream Cruise?

Is anyone here from Detroit/Michigan going to the Dream Cruise on Saturday or have a car they are going to be driving on Woodward? Just curious!

Ill be there, most likely as a spectator though, since my friends car wont be ready in time, and I currently dont have a car that would really fit in. Plus, from what I hear about the local residents, and the cops, Im not sure I want to cruise it this year.

Yeah, I had to take Woodward home last night, and it took me forever. People were lined up on the side of the road from 11 mile all the way to 15 mile, and I think every Royal Oak and Birmingham cop was on Woodward, too.

So did you end up going to the cruise? If so, how was it? I bailed early friday back to Chicago, but I didnt make it. And seeing what a nightmare everything was thursday night, Im curious as to whether or not they got any better.

Hi crazygirley, we missed it (being at WDW since Aug 13!) We even missed the black out! Good thing since we live less then a 1/4 mile from Woodward. Funny thing was that while in FLA we wachted the news about the black out and not once did they mention the dream cruise (they did talk about the state fair)

I live nearby, but I steered clear of it. My brother went down with a couple of his friends, but I don't know what they actually did down there. Whether they cruised or just watched.
