Today Dr. Amar Bose, founder of Bose corporation, passed away. I've had the joy of working for Bose for the last nine years and although I never met him, I am so thankful to Dr. Bose for creating a brilliant company with righteous ideals. Thanks to him, I have learned so much about technology, music, movies, human interaction and my personal capabilities.
Bose created their 'Daily decision guide' based around a code of conduct applied to Disney Cast Members; "Safety, courtesy, show, efficiency" (the Bose guide replaced 'show' with 'wow' as in "Let's WOW them").
Only because of my job, I have the pleasure of enjoying my beloved music and movies with realistic, dramatic sound every day, and I can say it truly makes a difference in my life.
