Has anyone used this app? It's supposed to be a Disney transportation app and I wanted to check to see if it was downloading and using. TIA

I just checked out their Google Play page. It's impossible for this app to be useful. They're trying to simulate what Touring Plans' LINES app does for wait times, but TP has millions of bits of historical data to pull from, plus a huge user base of reported "real time" information, plus their own boots on the ground.
Disney transportation is so haphazard, it's impossible to even attempt to predict when a bus will arrive at any given depot. And even with user feedback, it won't serve any purpose in predicting when a bus will arrive on a future day.
Great concept, but not feasible. Disney just needs to get their monitors rolled out at the rest of the resorts and depots. They work great at the few deluxe resorts that have them already.
Which resorts already have them?
Kidani Village has new the bus monitor boards, but Jambo did not have the monitor boards. We loved knowing the Times and they were actuate. They should include the bus times in MDE app and save the cost of installing and maintaining the monitors.
Now if they could only scan our magic bands at the resort bus depots to see the demand for each park based on our reservations on our bands, transportation would have it easy..![]()
I was kind of guessing DPart was trying to use a similar system as touring plans does but wasn't sure. It was free on iTunes as I'm always looking for good free apps in relation to WDW. Maybe I'll test it out in December if something official isn't already in place by then.
Is that screen used at Riverdide or FQ?
Absolutely possible - if there were a drawback to MB's, it would be that dispatch attempts to be PREDICTIVE rather than REACTIVE... but read bands for year, and the PREDICTIVE part should get yards better. I think they would need actual "Mickey Heads", though, as many of the resort stops (GF comes to mind) don't have any specific destination "areas".
It was being tested not that long ago. Wasn't a very long test though. Never made it to the MDE app. Let's only hope it does!Incase your wondering what the wait times tv screen looks like. Here's a photo from the port orleans fan site..While this is good it would have been nice if they did add wait times on the My Disney Experience App...But, I'm sure down the road it might be put on there..
