Hi, I know this has probably been answered a million times on here. But I was wondering about the DP. I'm going to Disney World in June with BF. We will be there 3 nights, doing the magic kingdom, and on the DP. So I was wondering, if you can get an appitizer insted of an entre. Also I was considireing downgrading to the QS plan. However, do y'all think that would be enough food? for some reason the dinning plan seems confusing. I've been to disney many times but this is the first time using the plan so I dont really know what to expect. Thank you so much for any info.

I always do the Dining option myself (the one between quick service and deluxe) Deluxe is WAY too much food and quick service doesn't allow you to experience all the wonderful sit down restaurants Disney has to offer. Not sure if places allow appetizers instead of entree's but it wouldn't hurt to ask.

I never tried to substitute, instead used the opportunity to try different things. The DDP is a lot if food, I looked for desserts I could get to go.
Don't hesitate to ask questions when you get there, wait staff are generally friendly and helpful.
