downtown

Does anyone know if there are any plans for anything new downtown disney?? Shops, reastuarants, or anything different??

Good question. Downtown Disney is one of my favorite areas of WDW, and I'd like to know if anything new is in the works. Hopefully, it wouldn't mean replacing anything. Well, I guess there are a few things I wouldn't mind seeing demolished around there. One club in PI, that I won't mention, but I will say it's a joke it ever replaced what it did. PI is now left without a country style club, and that original country style club was the best. They tried to make a new one down at the bottom of the hill, but it just wasn't the same. So, if you can't figure out what I'm talking about, then you don't get to know.

I've heard they might add a up-charge attraction.. problem is, there's Oldtown not to far down the road and that has alot of them and all. It would be neat to have a magic show or something.....


As for shops, there's always gonna be new ones popping up everywhere, so yeah.

And restaraunts.... I dont care if they add anymore.... lets put it this way... I love Wolfgang Puck's!!!

They're adding in/already added some sort of new resturant of some type. Like an up scale pretzel place I believe, I dont know. All I remember is that the family behind the chain is very sucessful.

They actually do have a magic show, well, in a way. Its nothing big or fancy like Lance Burton or someone like that but the guys at Magic Masters who are a bunch of great guys and friends of mine, do shows we'll continously, every 30 mins or so. The Water Tank of Hudini is kinda cheesy, but go by there at night and check them out when they do Light Flite. If you've never seen it, trust me, its amazing.

If it's Jay doing it, tell em Indy sent you.

And watch out for Rocky. That's all Ill say.

About Jay, girls, just back away. If I'm there, I'll keep in under control. He's not a psyco or anything of that nature but, well he can get out of control sometimes...

Yeah. And where is that place going to be/is it? Cause I went as far as Disney Quest (Very quite for a weekend) and The World of Disney at Marketplace, didnt see any new buildings, cept Saratoga acorss the lake.

Thats something I've been waiting for since they opened the "west side". With the cirque, I always thought that next they had some plans to put in a theater...maybe something a bit bigger than Hyperion at DCA. It would be nice to catch a play, musical or some type of show while at WDW (maybe they can follow the vegas example and have a performer perform for sometime and then contract someone else to perform and so on)....it would be nice.....

However with the "get to sleep early and wake up early" attitude disney tries to enforce by closing things early...so people wake up bright and early--ready to spend money at the parks etc....(yea come on I doubt I'm the only one who has trouble looking for a place to eat late at night after 10 in and around wdw)...perhaps this attraction will never come....I hope it or something like it does though....

I'd hate to see what you call Early....DTD/Marketplace is open until 11-12 pm/am. And PI is open until 2 am.

I wouldnt mind seeing the scrapped David Copperfield show that they had planned for the Studios a few years back. But if I hear the words "Lance Burton coming to Walt Disney World" Im there every friday night. Lance is my main insparation for getting into magic, aside from Jay at Magic Masters.

Resturants are open until 12 am.......

Theres only one other real reason that I can think of, (Besides those who have to eat at late late hours), and thats because they've been hittin the kronic, rock, magic powder, Cuban Palm Leaf, ect......for all of you who dont know what that this....Crack and Pot.

But apparently, according to The Olypmic Committee, Pot is a performance inhancing drug....so you can drive all over Orlando at that point to look for food.
