downtown disney westside movies

Hi i was wondering if anyone has any info on the downtown disney movies me and my husband are trying to sceadule another night away from the kids to go see amovie but any idea prices, how to find out movie times etc! also does the bus go from the all star sports there? usually we drive to downtown disney but we were debating on driving or taking a bus thanks

We usually try to catch a movie every trip. Great seats with movable armrests, and the concessions rock. You get to butter your own popcorn!:slurp:

I would not recommend driving at all, the parking gets packed and not worth the hastle. The buses do take you there, or you can take a taxi (about 5-10 bucks). plan accordingly because the buses don't go straight there, they usually stop at typhone lagoon on the way there

Sorry, I couldn't resist. I work at AMC down here in Lake County. It's cool because I get in free (and firends/ family) to any AMC in the country.

PI (that's what we call it) AMC is great! If you see a really new/ hit movie, you get the multi level stadium seating. The concession stands are really nice. The food is kinda expensive, but heres a little tip: we cannot stop you from bringing in any food you like. It's a company policy. So, stock up on anything you wish. You'd be surprised, I get people bringing in whole pizzas and loads of Chick Fil'a. Hope you enjoy your trip!!!

The bus will actually be the one to Downtown Disney. It will make two stops, one at the marketplace side of Downtown and the other at Pleasure Island. You will want to get off at the Pleasure island stop unless you are interested in strolling through the Marketplace.

When You exit the bus at Pleasure Island go to your left and follow the sidewalk to the end and then proceed to walk around Planet Hollywood as the movie theatre is on the opposite side of the building.

The Westside bus stop Closed in late 2001. It would put you further from the theatres anyway.
