The title kinda explains the question. Where is the theatre in downtown disney and what's the name of it? I'm just wondering cause I'll be down there the night POTC opens!

And it is located right beside the big neon ball that is Planet Hollywood, near the fountain. You could not miss it if you tried.

If you are staying at a Disney resort, take the downtown bus and get off at the Pleasure island stop. ITs the second stop and not the first. Then just head in the direction of Planet Hollywood. The box office will be just across the walkway from there. The buses run until 2 am so even if you see the latest show possible you will still be able to get back to your resort.

Tip:
If you need to call the theater and want to talk to a real life person instead of a recording, call 407-827-1308, and a theater employee will pick up.
On the night that you'll be visiting you may want to ask what movies are playing in houses #1 and #2 and the corresponding times, because those two screens are the largest in the complex - so large that balcony seating is 3 stories up. Houses #19 and #20 are the second largest, and if the movie is digital format (i.e. Finding Nemo), theater #19 has a DLP projector (the only one in central Florida.) Houses #10 and #11 rank 3rd in size (of the stadium seating screens.) Houses #17 and #18 as well as #21-24 are *not* stadium seating.
If you're seeing a movie on a peak night (weekend), you'll want to get your seats at least 30 minutes before showtime the AMC theather fills up quick. If purchasing concessions, there are 2 main counters on each end of the theater and sometimes one counter will be much more crowded than the other.
