Downtown Disney Pathway Hours

Hey everyone, I am staying near WDW at the Caribe Royal and will be headed to WDW on Friday.

I've recently been running longer distances for exercise, and I found that Downtown Disney is about 3 miles from my hotel, so I want to run there tomorrow morning. My question is: Does the walkway through Downtown Disney close/open at a specific time?

I know there are hours for the restaurants and stores, but I just want to jog through Downtown Disney around 6:30 AM tomorrow.

Will I be able to access it, or will that be a problem? Thanks!

8am is the official opening of the common areas, with varying store and dining hours. The earliest to open will be around 8:30am.
There are not any gates as such, but you may get stopped by security.
