Downtown Disney Hilton

We will be staying at the DTD Hilton the first week in December for 3 nights as part of our prize for the DTD Resort A+ Teacher contest. They offer a character breakfast on Sunday morning. We are getting free breakfast each morning and have the option to upgrade to the character breakfast for an additional fee. Has anyone done this and if so, was it worth it? Any other information about that hotel would be greatly appreciated.

My friends have done the character breakfast and said it was very good. They spent more time with you at the table than the ones in the parks and hotels.

Not about the breakfast - and the information is a couple of years old and may have changed, but - guests at that particular Hilton are able to access EMH just like on-property guests. I believe that this is the only hotel on HPB for which this is true.

Also unlike most of the hotels over there (at least as of a couple of years ago), parking at the Hilton is not free. There is a valet option and a self-park option, and I'm not sure what the rates are - but you can probably find out at their web site.
