Here at the crowded MK right now and in the past 30 minutes space mountain, seven dwarfs mine train, Winnie the Pooh, and now the ramp to the TTA has gone down. Not a good night so far - I know these things go down from time to time but ouch

Well when 1 goes down people have a fastpass for they can then use it at any other ride....and here is the result
We had a fastpass for space mountain ironically that we had booked months ago but now we have to deal with all the mine train fastpassers now too lol

Heard space mountain has been up and down for hours today one gentlemen in a wheel chair was attempting his third ride and didn't get to ...that's sad

I thought I was going to get on the Mine Train pretty easily during the party on Thursday night...nope...people all throughout the switchbacks...40 minutes. Wasn't even going to bother.Why is it so crowded today anyway?

No Halloween party tonight....but run Disney event over the weekend and a big gartner IT conference going on at swan and dolphin plus fall break crowds arriving now.
It was 90+ for standby about 20-30 for fastpass

This is the week I was there last year and thought it was fairly crowded. That's why I put it back to this previous week this time because of the reasons you stated.

TTA seems to be a disaster since its refurb. Saturday evening it was down for at least 1.5 hours and then E-stopped for a few mins while we were riding. And they were not letting anyone up as we exited so it essentially was down again. Mermaid and Peter Pan also had issues during the morning hours with both of them still closed nearly an hour after the park opened.
Oh, and the park was PACKED. Main Street and Hub were walls of people from 8:30 PM to 10:30 PM for Wishes and MSEP. So much for Sept/Oct being the quiet season. I shudder to think of the chaos the Hub area will be during the holidays when MK is at or near capacity.

I agree - on the nights they DON'T have the parties that is the only night for people to see wishes and the electrical parade so those only happen 1-3 nights a week now so those are gonna be packed with people vacating that week and for those without park hoppers usually go to the MK those days as well
