Doubletree on Idrive

We're booked into the Doubletree Castle for august 15th - 29th. Anyone stayed there that can tell me what they thought of it? And any ideas about the best restaurants nearby or things to do nearby? Thanks.

We stayed there about 2 years ago and thought it was great. It had a nice pool, the rooms were clean and you didn't have to leave the hotel area to find a restaurant. Its also close to SeaWorld. Overall we really enjoyed it.

We stayed there for two nights on the last summer trip you took while we did Universal. We loved it! The rooms were very nice and clean. It is clean all around the hotel. It has restaurants ALL AROUND IT. It is close to Sea World and US, and not really that far from WDW, if I remember correctly. We got it on such a steal from hotels.com or some other site like that, so it was well worth it.

That sounds great thanks. Actually we booked it on expedia.ie for a really great price, i guess it pays to check out these sites as it was about a third more expensive on the other sites i checked.

Great location if you plan on doing more than just WDW during your stay. It is 5 minutes from Universal, 15 from WDW, and within walking distance of all the touristy stuff (silly attractions, restaurants, and stores) you could ever hope to do.
