Doom 3

Just downloaded the Demo for Doom 3. So far I am very impressed with the game. The story line is great (If your into the whole demons from hell thing) and the graphics are very impressive. If you want to try it out you can find a list of sites to get it from at doom3.com. One site not listed on doom3's website that I used was gamespot.com. Has anyone else tried the game yet? What do you think about it, cause I'm very impressed. A much anticipated game for me didn't let down at all. :sohappy:

I can't play Doom 3 because I have a Mac. I'm getting a cheap Windows laptop soon to play Doom 3 and The Sims 2 (as well as all my other old games.. like every other Sims game and the original Doom). I have a feeling I'll end up liking the original Doom better. I don't want a game with a real storyline like they did with Return to Castle Wolfenstein. I just like going around killing demons for fun.

Downloaded the demo, it's great! Very scary, reminds me of Resident Evil sort of... (one of the only games that scares the bejeezus out of me )

Sounds great, but I'm going to wait for the Mac version or buy it for XBOX.

The mac version is gonna take a while and the frame rate is gonna suffer on the X-Box.

Hey has anyone gotten Fable for their X-box? I'm thinking about making a purcahse real soon...

I dont think theres a "cheap laptop" that could even meet the minimum play requirments for both doom 3 and the sims 2....

The one thing I worry about is I get the full version, my laptop may not be able to handle it, and my laptop is not cheap by any means.
