Well since today is International Panic Day,here is my question. How far out do you start to make plans for your Disney vacation.?. The 180 days,or 6 months in advance for ADRS,is a must for us as we always go in July.Tho our next trip we are looking at a possible October vacation..But since our trip is 14 nights & days of Mickey huggin fun..I tend to start planning the minute we get home, and since we go every two years, that's a lot of months of hard swatting..But have you ever had a panic attack, where you've completely forgot to do something.?Friends of ours once forgot to book their pet cats ( both blue Prussians ) into a cattery on the day they were due to fly off.The cats cost in the region of $500 each. Every local cattery was full, and they ended up booking them into this 5 star luxury cattery,50 miles north of the airport..At $100 per cat per day.( smoked salmon and fresh tuna on the menu ) Talk about panic..The cattery bill was over $3000 for 15 nights..It was normally $300 for the stay..I still chuckle when they tell me the story..So anyway, have you had any panic attacks.?

I have a cat and my Tigger Cat does not stay in a cattery. Tigger enjoys staying home. I have wonderful neighbors who come in and feed her and take care of her litter box. They have teenagers that come over and watch tv and give Tigger some loving. I get a two for 1..House sitter and Cat sitter!

No panic buttons here. If I forget something, I can almost always buy it.

We have been going in September for the last several years so we always take advantage of the bounce back offer for the following year. I guess you could say we are never without our next trip booked!

I don't think I've ever officially ever forgotten anything but I've had enough nightmares about everything trip related. The panic button gets pressed when anything that has been well and long planned starts to fall apart. Last year it was the dog, our 12 year old Golden Retriever, developed an ear hemtoma and threatened us with surgery 2 weeks before the trip. By the grace of the WDW gods, surgery wasn't needed but it kept us in that panic mode until the very end.
