It's just the theming, but I really do not care for HRH. It's nice and clean and not a bad place, I just don't care for it. PBH, on the other hand, is wonderful. Nice, pretty, large rooms. You could fit almost an entire Disney Value room in the bathroom of PBH. And it has a real hair dryer, not one of those crappy on-the-wall, motel-type things Disney has.
The service is real hotel-type service and blows Disney away. Disney does not even attempt to be that good.
It's so pretty there. Take some time to wander around one day - you won't be sorry. Very romantic at night, too.
They have one small, quiet pool. Unlike Disney, they enforce the quiet thing. No children! It's the smallest of the pools there, but you can spend a peaceful afternoon lying in the sun and taking a short dip to cool off. So wonderful. There are plenty of pools for kids. You can even go to another hotel, if you want...why anyone ever wants to do that, I don't know, but you can at Uni.
Entertainment is nice. That balcony singing thing is very cool. Everyone love-love-loves Bice. I prefer Mama Della's, but even that is not my favorite. Much rare go to Pastamore!
Transportation to the parks is much, much faster than driving. If you bring a car, you won't touch it unless you're going offsite. It's a lovely boat ride, too.
And you get the FOTL thing. So you can RELAX on your vacation. Sleep in. No rushing. Just wander around, from thing to thing, riding what you want, when you want, without a long wait. No ride appointments to keep. No "Do we have time for X before we keep our appointment for Y?" No, "Should we go there to ride X or is there something over here we could do so we don't have to hurry across the park to keep that appointment?" No cell phones required. No wristbands required.
It's a very relaxing and fun way to vacation.
