well i got to MGM on friday to see a MASSIVE stage setup in front of the big hat, i asked what it was for and the CMs said it was a special event.....so on saturday i went back later at night and saw a band praticing, i asked a security gaurd who was standing near about the event, he said it was a special ticketed event, a concert with donna summers, i watched them and her pratice untill the park closed( they sounded good).....at around 12:15 in my room at pop i woke up to extremely bangs, i ran outside to see what it was and it was loads of fireworks coming from MGM, anyone here herd about this event?

It was for Gay Days, but it was truly a historical event-
Donna Summer making nice with the gay community- the first time since the 70's
If you don't know- Donna Summer is one of the most amazing vocalists ever, in my opinion...oh, and probably one of the most under-rated. She's as good as Aretha, Gladys, Patti- but never gets the credit for it. She has always understood that singing is not the same thing as screaming...so many divas don't get that!
