One of the things I liked most about Tusker House was a calm, character-free dining experience. With a three to five-dollar price increase AND the addition of characters I'm not sure I'll be as quick to book a meal next time.

The Tusker House is my most frequented dining location, for a combination of reasons. Upping the price for something I'm not personally interested in is likely good business sense, but it makes me a little upset.

does this mean they won't be having non-character dining? can't they have both in separate rooms? what about the nemo deal i always do? is this cancelled?

2 characters, both of which are easily accessible in every park, seems like a bit of a ripoff.

Most, if not all, of the characters at the buffets are easily found at the parks though. IMO, All the character buffets are priced too high making them a ripoff anyway.

So... AK lost two live entertainment acts, and picked up more dining with characters that are commonly available anywhere else at, with an upcharge?

Yep, sounds like Disney.

i just hope they ditch the photo package for this one, because it's enough of a pain to pay 34 dollars for a photo with Donald Duck who doesn't even autograph.

adding to that, this new character lunch will also come at the expense of the Finding Nemo dining package too.
