Doing WDW Cheap

Hey guys, I need some help! And who better to ask then you experts?

Here's the deal: My aunt wants to go to WDW with us in July. She wants to stay with us for a few days during our week. The only problem is, she doesn't have too much extra money right now. Her and her 2 kids (ages 11 and 12) can stay with us, since we're staying in a 2-bedroom villa at Saratoga Springs. That way, the hotel won't cost her anything. We just need to know, how can she stay 4 days in WDW without spending too much money? Like,

What would be the best passes to buy for 3 days in the parks?

Which parks should they go to?

What should they do on the day they don't go to the parks?

Which would be the best and cheapest restaurants to eat at?

What are some food alternates instead of eating at the park/hotel restaurants?

Thanks a million!

I would go ahead and buy the 4 day park hopper, the unused day can be saved for a future visit.

THen you could hit all four parks, AK & MGM could be one day, AK early, then hop to MGM, leaving one day for Epcot & one for MK. If either park is open late go to that park.

There is always the pool, drive to a beach, downtown disney for window shopping is always fun.

eat big breakfast before going into the park, put some snacks in a small backpack for a quick break. Skippy has squeeze tube peanut butter that my kids love, theres always fruit snacks, p'nut butter crackers, etc. but splurge for an ice cream or something..this is Disney after all. Another option is to order kids meals from the counter service restaurants, often cheaper, plenty to eat and quick! big money saver!

We always eat a buffet meal inside the parks late lunch right before the dinner prices kick in. That way we aren't hungry until we are done w/ the park and can eat at the hotel or off property if we so desire (we never so desire, but its a nice option for those who do!)

good luck. let us know how it goes!
