Doesn't Sound Good

Just thought I'd post this after talking to my friend last night.

He just got back from a week in Disney. He's a Disney nut, not quite as bad as me, but still loves it all the same.

Anyways, he was VERY upset about his trip this time. He stayed at Pop Century. Said it's a beautiful resort, but was appalled at the lack of attention that is being paid to it.

Made a point of saying there were 2 seperate occasions where they came back from the parks at lunchtime to see the same breakfast trash on tables outside with birds picking away at it.

I found it interesting that his bottom line impression was that "something was different - Didn't feel like Disney."

It's very sad. I was under the impression myself that things had started to get better as of late. However, his talk of the messiness and rude castmembers really has me concerned again.

I was at Pop Century last week and I thought it was a great resort for the value. Everything seemed neat and clean and the service at the Food Court and inside Bar was great! I was traveling alone so I spent a great deal of time at the resort. I was actually impressed from the moment I checked in to the moment I checked out. We usually stay at the Beach Club or Contemporary but for this short trip I thought I would try Pop Century. I had a great room right near the main pool and food court. I would recommend it to anyone. Especially, because I was traveling alone the cast was very nice. Maybe your friend was just having a bad day.
