Does this make sense?

I was doing a little research for an upcoming trip and stumbled upon this:

During the month of March, there is a rate of $355 weekday and $375 weekend at AKL and WL. During these same dates The Contemporary (garden wing) is $5 more.

But during the month of May, while the AKL and WL rates drop to a flat $290 (regular season rates apparently don't "hike" up weekend rates like peak season) The Contemporary only drops to $325.

What happened to the "$5 more for The Contemporary" rate in May? I'm sure it has something to do with historical seasonal booking data, but I just thought I would ask.

You have the correct rates, I checked allears and mousesavers.

There is no set rule saying they have to keep the rates in lockstep.

I would expect the AKL and WL to be more in sync than the AKL/WL and Contemporary.

As I view it:

- comparing AKL and WL to each other is very close to an apples to apples comparison

- comparing AKL/WL to CR is more of an apples to oranges comparison

I completely agree, it just didn't make sense that the March rates were sooooo close, but the May rates were not.
