3 days ago I booked a garden view room at the Polynesian with free dining for November. My wife and I have always wanted to stay there (and it's a birthday surprise for her. She thinks we're staying off ground, teehee).
Then today I get my first ever pin code in the mail. I called up Disney to see what prices look like using the code.
Unfortunately, the Poly didn't have any rooms that qualified for the discount but they found a lagoon view room at the Grand Floridian.
The GF room with tickets and (paid) dining plan came out to be cheaper than the Poly garden room with free dining! Despite looking forward to a stay at the Poly, I couldn't pass up such a deal for the GF.
The wife is gonna freak now when I pull up the GF security booth and say we're here to check in.
Anyway, no real point here other than I just had to share my excitement. Woo Hoo!! :sohappy::sohappy:
