Just a simple question. Does anyone who's visited Disney World have Sprint and if so have you had any issues using Sprint in the parks? Thank you.
Master Yoda,My daughter was on Sprint and it worked fine, but cell service can be a little bit fickle regardless of carrier going in and out of buildings in WDW.
No problem.Master Yoda,
Thank you for the response. I've heard so many different things from all the cell phone carriers that I just wanted to actually hear from someone who's actually been to the parks and has Sprint. Thanks again for the response.
Thank you for the suggestion, I actually have to Sony portable battery packs that do a great job that I always bring with me. We just switched to Sprint and I have heard that only AT&T and Verizon work in the parks and Verizon is sketchy at best. My daughter is going in a few weeks and I want to make sure her phone will work while she's there. No problem.
One thing I would recommend is getting for the trip is a portable charger. Most of the attraction buildings might as well be Faraday cages and you phone is most likely going to burn through the battery much quicker than you are use to. Amazon has some pretty high capacity Anker batteries that are about the size of a wallet and can charge a phone several times on a single charge.
No problem.

Plutofan15,Put your phone into airplane mode when going inside rides which have poor/no coverage (Soarin', Space Mountain, etc.). Your phone will not burn through the battery constantly scanning for service. Just remember to change back when back outside.
Nsaudra,We have sprint, i did not have any issues at disney.... i did have issues in orlando but not at magic kingdom . Inside some of the buildings there was low coverage. I was told every phone is diffrent I have a s7
Plutofan15,
Thank you for the suggestion, I will make sure my daughter does that when she's there.
Plutofan15,Also, if you want your battery to last, make sure to close any apps that might be running in the background. And remember, anytime your phne is used, your are using battery strength - posting to Facebook, Instagram, Google, texting, taking photos, playing music. It is not cool these days but using a point and shoot digital camera instead of your phone's camera will extend battery life.
If you are using cell service instead of WiFi, turn WiFi off. Your phone uses different types of transmitters for each. By turning off WiFi, that transmitter will not be scanning for service and will conserve battery strength as well.
I’m sorry, but this is bad advice that will just consume more battery power. Background apps in iOS are not drawing resources and doing this tends to have the opposite effect, using more power. Apple even says closing apps will not improve battery life. Wi-Fi radios are less power intensive than cellular radios and any data use (almost everything, even Wi-Fi calling can be enabled) will be pushed through Wi-Fi if it is connected. Also, if you want your battery to last, make sure to close any apps that might be running in the background.
