Does MLK school day of service count?

Please note: we have already booked our trip for February, and our children are already signed-up to participate in their school's MLK "day of service" as they do every year.

So I just want to ask... does a MLK school day of service count towards the "Give a day, get a day" program? Thanks.

You need to go to the websites and contact the powers that be. If it's not already on the pre-approved list, you'd have to plead your case to get a variance.

If it's not on there, then no. If it is on there, you'll have to sign up through the site prior to the event for it to count.

Does anyone know how often new volunteer opportunities are going to be listed?
Almost every opportunity is booked for anything within 40 miles of my town.
