I am asking this question because someone on anther thread claims the show is better off at toontown if Toontown is built for DHS.

Personally, Mickey's Philharmagic belongs in MK and fits the theme of Fantasyland. I go by what is in the attraction

It is the best AC show in the World...an update would be nice, but it's still a great attraction and I think it would fit in DHS's Animation Courtyard in place of the hideous VotLM (since the new attraction is also opening soon). If they would have taken this away instead of Snow White for a MnG I would have screamed, I'm sad that I don't get to see the creepy witch or waving Dopey, but hopefully the mine train beats our lower expectations

Phil feels like a perfect fit for FL! :)

My only issue with it is the somewhat dissapointing quality of the 3D. Other than that, I love it, and I love the placement in FL.

When the MK opened, there was already an attraction here about Disney songs. Mickey Mouse Revue. Sung by actual AA's on stage, sonmewhat akin to the Country Bears attraction.

It's perfect in the MK. And although I'm not 100% convinced that it's a total fit in FL, I can't think of a better place to put it.

I vote thumbs up on MP in FL. :)

No matter what the outcome of your poll, its not going to go anywhere. It was specifically designed to fit into a space that is already a theater that can't be used for anything else. Its staying where it is wether or not it thematically fits...Anything with Mickey Mouse in it "fits" anywhere they want in the Magic Kingdom.

By the way, when I was a kid I LOVED the Mickey Mouse Revue -- one of the reasons I still direct professional theater today...

I think it's really a great fit where it is and will not be moved ever.

But I see where you are coming from. A show like it would do very well at DHS in a Toontown setting, but I doubt they will ever build Toontown there. It looks like there will never be a Roger Rabbit sequel and there won't be a Maroon Cartoons area of DHS ever...I think maybe a Muppet Studios will be built at some point, but I wonder how much love DHS will ever receive. In my opinion it is both the park that needs the most work and also the park that is lowest on the totem pole in terms of actually getting any improvements. This is the half-day park for my family.
