Does Guardians have single rider

We are going to WDW for first time in over 13 years. We’re obviously older. due To some concerns I won’t ride Guardians but DH might want to. Is there a single rider line? Can I get him a boarding group slot just for him? Or is this an ILL where I could just buy for him? Thanks

There is no separate single rider entrance. A single rider with a boarding group number or ILL enters the queue like everyone else, using either the VQ (boarding group) or LL (ILL purchase) entrance.

The Virtual Queue boarding group system will automatically select both of you to ride. You can either wait outside for your husband

OR

There is a “chicken exit” just before boarding the ride vehicles, so you could experience the queue and preshows (which are very fun) with your husband. The cast member assigning vehicle rows at the boarding area will assist you with the chicken exit (a nearby door). While your husband rides, you get to wait for him indoors. I have done this several times with my family.

You can purchase an Individual Lightning Lane (ILL) just for your husband. I wouldn’t spend the money if not riding, since the ILL queue is shorter than the VQ queue (which will eventually become the standby queue). Just wait for your husband outside.

@Tuvalu, is it worth seeing the queue for it if you’ve never seen the movies?
There are a couple of queues I want to see on our trip but where I have no intention of riding. Wondering if this is another worth adding to the list.

We watched the movies after seeing the queues. I thought they were pretty interesting. But I’m not sure I would wait in a line just for kicks if there was something better I could be doing. If you got a really early boarding group, definitely go through. We got an early group and the queue was just walk through until the preshow.

Thanks. Is the chicken exit after the Preshow?

@nickys I did the queue the first time before I saw the movies and enjoyed it. When I got home I watched the movies and even though I am not a sci fi, superhero or comic book fan, I found them fun.

I liked the queue/preshows even more once I knew the backstory.

Hmmm, maybe I should try watching them then. 🤔
