Does Disney World accept Apple Pay?

This may help you. From what I've heard is that while most shops support it there are a few here and there that may not.

Mobile payments, such as Apple Pay, Google Wallet and other tap-to-pay credit cards, began rolling out across Walt Disney World Resort this winter. They can be used at many quick-service dining, merchandise and ticket sales locations by moving your phone or card within reach of a supported terminal or other payment system. Note that this has not been fully implemented in table-service locations.

I'm almost certain that every terminal that supports paying via magic band also supports Apple/Android Pay. I used Android Pay when I was down there last year, worked fine.

All Disney owned & operated quick service locations & merchandise locations should accept contactless (Apple Pay, Android Pay, etc.) payments. Locations operated by a 3rd party (some Epcot countries and Disney Springs stores) may or may not accept contactless payments even though they accept room charging.

One problem I've encountered is Cast Members who insist that ApplePay is not supported or allowed. Since the MagicBand terminal has to be activated by the Cast Member, they refuse to activate it.

Pretty much everywhere you can tap your magicband to pay, you can Apple Pay. Some third party vendors may not accept it, but I have been able to use it at several stores/restaurants in World Showcase and have never had a problem at a Disney owned location. :)
