Does Disney still waive overnight parking fees for those with a handicap parking permit?

Just make sure that you have your placard in the window (or that you have the handicapped plate) and are parked in a handicap spot. I plan on using mine. :)

Yes. Like any hotel, to verify which vehicles should be in the parking lot, when you check in you let them know the make and model of your vehicle and the plate number. Notifying them at that time that it has a handicap plate or placard. They will give you a paper that you leave on your dashboard as a resort guest.
We have never had an issue with being charged for parking but others have said at check out they had to make sure there wasnt a charge inadvertently placed on their account

You can get free valet service, too, at the ones that offer valet. If you're not staying at one of those, be sure to keep it in mind if you have a meal planned at one that does.
We do this when we go boating from The Contemporary. I always tip the CM who parks and returns the vehicle if we use valet parking though.
