Does disney accept canadian dollar at par?

I know several years ago they did..but do they now? a $4400 trip would cost us close to 5700...

I have no idea. However, I'd be more than willing to convert my dollars to Canadian dollars and then pay disney for my stay and keep the change. Better deal than buying target gift cards.

What?? The US Dollar is worth more than Canadian? Has this always been so??

EDIT: so I guess the canadian dollar has always been weaker. That's why canadians pay more for products. Oh well.

The Canadian dollar has generally been weaker over the years, but not "always".

The last few years, not including this one, the Canadian dollar has basically been at par or even higher. Since then it has really dropped and does make a difference in planning for trips.
I remember when Disney had that promo a number of years ago, but I believe it was just on the resorts. I haven't seen it since.

Found this post after searching through the forums on this topic...

I think the better question to ask is "what are the odds Disney WILL offer another 'Canadian dollar at par' promo?" Given how much value it's lost recently, it'd be a good idea... just sayin'...

Anyone have any insights???
