Does baby swap still exist?

Does the baby swap still exist for rides that little kids can't go on?
If so, is it in all 4 parks and what rides currently use it?

Thanks

Hello.!!

My wife and I used the baby swap when we went in April (20-27th). We used the baby swap at each park and with no problems at all. I can't imagine WDW done away with it since then...it's a great thing.

At the beginning of just about every line, there is a cast member. That CM is there to answer questions and also has a pocket full of baby-swap passes. You go up and tell them one of you is staying with the baby and they give you a pass; then one of you gets in line. I have gotten baby-swap passes for BTMRR, Splash, Space, Buzz, M:S, Test Track, and TOT. For Star Tours, you all wait in line and then perform the swap as the ride changes. They will let your older child or other members of the party ride with you; a swap pass lets you bring 3 people on (I have gotten people out of line to come with me) and at Star Tours they just let your friends stay on the ride. I don't think they offer them for rides anyone can go on, although if you had a tiny or frightened one who didn't want to go on, say, Peter Pan, I expect if you asked they'd give you a fast pass or handwritten line pass.

The first time we went our kids were almost 4 years old and 9 months old. We had a great time--we rode almost everything.

You just swap your child for one that is better-behaving.

But seriously...
You let a CM know that you want to do the child swap. They'll let one of you on the attraction while the other waits. They'll give the non-riding parent instructions on how to get on as soon as the riding parent returns.

Taken from The Unofficial Guide :
There must be at least 2 adults. Everyone waits in line together, when you reach an attendant (greeter) tell them you want to switch. Everyone enters the attraction. When you reach the loading area, one adult rides while the other stays with the kids. Then the riding adult disembarks and takes charge of the children while the other adult rides. A third adult in the party can ride twice, once with each of the switching adults so that the switching adults don't have to ride alone
Hope this answers the question

Our experience with baby swap was a little different than the Official Guide describes, because we rarely waited in line with the non-rider. If we saw a CM near the entrance to the line, we were usually able to let them know right then that we wanted to swap and when the first adult riding was done, we just went back up through the exit and told them. I don't think they require that all members of a group wait through the line together, even though that's how the official guide describes it. At least that was our experience.

We did "baby" swap even last summer when my son was 6 and could have ridden most anything. He just didn't want to. We simply told them we were doing a rider swap and I don't think we ever got a ticket or pass for it, except Test Track I think. We swapped out of all the E-ticket attractions, but I don't think we needed to on anything else.

The nice part about it was that for my older children, we were able to take them back through it a 2nd time. For example, dad and the 2 girls rode Splash Mtn, while mom and chicken son waited, and when they were done, mom went back through the exit with 2 daughters while dad waited with chicken son. This happened over and over for them, so they got to do everything they wanted to do twice in a row!

Baby Swap is great for a nut like me who likes to ride things MULTIPLE times.

Always a good reason to bring a Grandparent along with you to the park. :D
