Does anyone remember old programs?

Does anyone remember the old programs that used to be on a Disney show (I can't remember the name of the show) that used to play like The Scarecrow of Romney Marsh and others. Can anyone remember the name of the show or other program specials they used to play. I remember Walt Disney would sit on the edge of a desk and discuss the show and then it would come on. I would really like to see some of those old shows again.

The show began as "Disneyland" on ABC in 1954. Over the years it had many network and name changes including "The Wonderful World of Color" and "Walt Disney Presents". It ran in syndication for years (we watched it in the 80's on Sunday afternoons before cable and home video.) They also ran old episodes on the Disney Channel as part of the Vault Disney program. There is a lot more information available on line. You can watch some episodes on YouTube and some were available as part of the Walt Disney Treasures collection available in the early 2000's.

Those shows were the best. I'd stay up as a kid to watch them all and was in heaven when the Disney collections became available for sale.

Its a shame Disney doesn't produce great shows like these anymore.

I use to watch them on the Disney Channel late at night as a kid. I loved them. I can still hear in my head "The world is a car o sel of colors"
