Does anyone remember Donald looking this way?

I remeber on my 1996 trip that donald at WDW looked...strange.

This is not me, btw, but the only image of the "strange" Donald I could find. Why the change? And why the change back?

I have this postcard at home that I think I chose for a souvenir when in the 90's. He also looks different compared to present day Donald here, and different from the picture you posted. They get makeovers once in a while I suppose to better represent the character or to make use of new materials.

It just wasn't Donald...Daisy had that odd look as well..Including the newphews here's some I found on Google...

I think it's due to the Half lazy eye look...They looked rather stoned...

I showed this to my Dad and he said he remembered seeing Donald Duck like this in DL in 1958. Pretty cool.
