Does anyone know why Bea Arthur doesn't have her hands outside of Grauman's at DHS?

This has puzzled me for years.

Betty, Rue, and Estelle all have their handprints side by side. 3 of the 4 Golden Girls. Anyone know why Bea is missing? Did she opt out by choice?

I have asked this question of every single greeter outside of the attraction every time I go on, and no one seems to know the answer. The most common response has been, "I don't know but it's a question I get asked all of the time."

Anyone know what happened?

From everything I have heard, Bea Arthur wasn't really a team player when it came to the show. In fact, I have heard she was the reason there was never a Golden Girls reunion. Not a cut and dry answer - but just why I always assumed she never did it....

Well, the show did end because she didn't want to do it anymore. The other three all reunited for that disastrous Golden Palace series which was mercifully canceled after one season.

I heard her prints were there but when the Golden Girls house was taken out of the Backlot Tour, she was so furious she had them removed. #FalseWDWFakes
