Does anyone know about the international gateway?

Is there a security checkpoint at the entrance by the Epcot resorts. I just wondered because there is so little space there and it would look tacky. I guess safety is more important!

Yes, there is security just like at every other gate. I don't know why you say there isn't any room there; International Gateway has a lot of open space. There is an entire unused tram load zone there.....

Tacky? Not at all! It's nice, there is usually 2 security officers and almost never a wait. I thank the officers for doing what they do every time I go through. Once I'm past security, I feel like I can relax & enjoy the magic!

Of course there is security...it would defeat their mission to not have it there.
