Not sure if I'm just stuck in a nostalgia warp, but the old one seems a bit more magical to me. Just my opinion.

The old one just screams my childhood to me. Growing up watching all those classics.
It annoys me they've now changed the new one to just 'Disney'.
I'm also 99% sure they did a quick version of the new one with the end of the theme of the Kevin Costner Robin Hood film. The end of the opening credits of that film I'm sure features over this logo. Is it the one where they're showcasing all the Disney films on a dvd or something?

This is it. It bugged me for ages where they got the music from and then I watched Robin Hood. Interesting!
