Does anyone have the Disney mobile phone?

I know it just came out a couple months ago, but I was wondering if anyone has the new Disney mobile phone service? They seem to be marketing them to families, but they have individual plans too. I'm going to need a new phone soon, and I was looking into this. If anyone else has it or is looking into it. I'm still looking around at other companies, but I would appreicate any input you have on the Disney phone. I've been to disneymobile.com, I don't really have any specific questions right now, but I would like to know how your experience has been so far. I guess I do have one question. Are there many Disney things that you can get on the phone that you can't get with other services?

Who do you sign up with to get Disney Mobile? Verizon, Cingular...? Disney can't have their own phone service can they?

Yes they do now (go to www.disneymobile.com), they run off of Sprint's towers, but you sign up with Disney and they have their own plans. :wave:

I had planned to get it, but Sprint has terrible service around here - very few towers, so I passed and went with Verizon when my SunCom contract expired last month. I had really wanted the Disney plan and was bummed with the lack of towers.

Please remember to compare plans in your area before running to Disney Mobile just because it's Disney. Also, if they're running off Sprint towers, chances are they aren't good in a lot of places. Ask people in your area how they like their Sprint service.

Oh don't worry, I am comparing plans. :wave: I have Virgin Mobile right now, which is a pay as you go plan, they run off of Sprint towers also and I've been fine with it. Sprint is actually one of my other top choices, My brother has had Sprint for probably 4 years now, he's been happy with them.
