Does anyone else think Fernfully would fit in great at AK?

Would you like to see a Fernfully attraction(s) at AK?

Loved this movie but the begining scared me as a kid with the gas leak and all of the animals dying.
Is this a Don Bluth film? His stuff is always good with a little bit of darkness added for suspense.
Surprisingly, this film was actually produced by Hanna-Barbera just a year after the atrocious Tom & Jerry movie came out in 1992..Which for some reason Disney*MGM did a promotion for the film in the park having the characters doing M&G's...I would love to know more about what they did with this for the studio park..

Have to admit. I liked the Tom and Jerry movie when I was a kid, then again I was a weird kid.
That hasn't changed much...

But that is interesting seeing Tom and Jerry in Disney. I think MGM had some weird M&Gs over the years but they were memorable ones. Wasn't there a M&G with the characters from the tv series Dinosaurs?

I find this interesting, since Universal Studios would get the Hanna Barbara ride.

EDIT-- Also interesting, as Tom & Jerry are featured in the Sci-Fi Dine In movie.

Considering they had agreements to use MGM branded characters in the park may have been the reason..At Sci-fi Dine-In they show 2 Abridged MGM cartoon shorts Tex Avery's "The Cat who hated People" and Tom & Jerry's "Mouse into Space" and it's still the only MGM related thing that is still in the park.

And yes they did have Jim Henson's Dinosaurs in the Studios for a mini parade/stage show in the Hub area..IMO I would have liked to have seen them moved to Dinoland since they are...Well...Dinos..

And here's the parade-mini show.

I consider the other version to look very different than it's inspiration

Especially since James Cameron had no role in it and using the Xenomorph without permission at the time could be a reason? However...One thing bugs me about it is this....What did George Lucas have to do with anything from this....Both Scary & Non Versions didn't seem to Lucas-esque...Did he just wanted his name on it because it was in Tomorrowland like Star Tours in DL...Nothing has ever been brought up about it......Anyone know??

From what I can tell he wrote the script for the version of the ride where the big scary alien was the good guy, but that's all the involvement he ever had.
Speaking of which, good guy alien version sounded like it would have been awful. You sit down just to stand up again. But it would have made for a better kid friendly replacement than Stitch did.
EDIT: For example, instead of having the experiments be scary, have them be somewhat silly, mismatch creatures. You don't want to become a mismatch creature too, now do you?
