Does anyone else miss cafeteria/buffeteria of Old Crystal Palace and Hollywood and Vine??

We were talking last night about how easy and fun it was to go to the Crystal Palace years ago without having to worry about a reservation and get a great meal. I can still remember going through the line and how fun it was. Once the Crystal Palace changed to its new character buffet format, we liked (but not adored) Hollywood and Vine and then alas, it changed over too. Do you think they will EVER do a cafeteria/buffetereia again??

Well this is going to age me but years ago before the Contemporary put in the California Grill on Sunday at the top of the resort they had a huge Sunday brunch, my MIL loved it and took us one year it was unbelievable. You could only call a week in advance for a reservation (that's what they called it in the olden days). I believe we went in 1989 and it was there we decided to honeymoon in WDW.
