Does anyone else eat junk food in place of dinner at the Magic Kingdom

Reading the turkey leg thread made me realize that I have lunch around afternoon parade time at the restaurant across from liberty square and don't really stop anywhere else to eat after that. The next thing Ill have is a turkey leg, giant bucket of popcorn all washed down with a giant root beer then a giant cooky for desert, does that sound like the average Magic Kingdom dinner?

Rarely eat in the MK apart for a character breakfast once a year as a treat. This is two fold really, one we're usually not there all day and two the prices are cheaper outside so we often eat out on the way home.

As MK is by far my least favorite park for food I'd say junk food is probably your best bet!

I've eaten at BOG and can honestly say I'd rather have a turkey leg.

I thought that too! People always talk about them, maybe we are taking the looks of disgust the wrong way:cautious:

Mrs Merg kept saying she thought they looked nice and I said "Well get one but I'm 100% certain you wont like it". Anyhow I got off Splash Mountain one day and spotted her with one in her hand. I went over and said "So you're enjoying that are you". She looked rather sheepish and replied "It's not what I thought, but not too bad".

Two more bites later it was in the trash and she said "Don't even say it" as I smirked contentedly :)

I don't enjoy the turkey legs, but I can pretty much skip a meal for junk food anywhere and everywhere. I have indeed done this at WDW several times. Oh, and candy will suffice.

I hate Turkey legs! Yuck, now I think back we didn't have lunch and instead would have ice cream or popcorn.
There a hit or miss, You have to get them when there fresh and selling out every 30 minutes. If you get one on a late afternoon when there not selling so fast you will never want to look at one again, parade time is the time to get them.

A turkey leg is more food than my average meal. I prefer to eat light for lunch and dinner and have junk throughout the day. This is why my wife and I usually split our lunch and dinner.

Junk food, junk food, junk food!!!!!!!! Seriously we've had cupcakes for breakfast, Mickey premium bars for breakfast (& dinner). Sometimes it is so hot that we don't want a big lunch or dinner so a small junk food snack fits the bill.
