"Broken toys had nothing to fear this past weekend at Disney D23 Expo in Anaheim, California as Doc McStuffins made her debut to meet and greet with fans — and cuddles were definitely prescribed. We were fortunate to catch up with Doc between appointments where she proudly displayed one of the in-booth giveaways from Disney Junior: a tote with her own likeness on it."

"No word at this time if and when she’ll be making appearances in Disney Parks but given her immense popularity and having been recently added to Disney Junior Live On Stage (alongside Princess Sofia the First who started appearing not too long ago at the Disneyland Resort and just yesterday began appearing at Disney’s Hollywood Studios at the Walt Disney World Resort), it’s a good bet she just may."

"We also have a bit of video of her debut as she meets and greets with some of her biggest fans at the D23 Expo:"

My kids love Doc! I hope she gets to WDW by our trip in October.

I'm guessing she won't be there any time soon. We heard rumors of Sofia coming for months and it was only yesterday that she finally came out at WDW. In fact Sofia debuted in WDW during last year's Christmas Parade taping in early December. So 8 months later, she has actually gotten her own meet and greet.

Also, unless they would put her somewhere else at Hollyood Studios (the only park where she would really fit), another sign that she will not be coming soon is that the traditional Disney Junior Character Meet and Greet area at Hollywood Studios was just given a complete makeover to prepare for Sofia's Debut. With Handy Manny leaving and Sofia taking over for him, to join Jake (from Jake and the Neverland Pirates), WDW created themed backdrops for each of the charaters. There is a Pirate Beach and an Enchancia Castle backdrop for each of them. Previously, for years there have been just generic backdrops for with the Disney Channel's pre-school block logo (first Playhouse Disney and then Disney Jr.).

So while we know the character has been developed and I would expect to see her at the Christmas parade taping this year and possibly some other special events, I think it will be quite some time before she gets a her own meet and greet at WDW.

Over-rated. IMO, the latest couple of waves of Disney Jr. programming has been garbage compared to their last wave and what Disney had put out in years past for little ones.

Sophia and Doc are nothing compared to Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Little Einsteins, Handy Manny, etc. and certainly a huge step down from shows like Bear In The Big Blue House, Jo Jo's Circus, etc. At least it's as step up from Oso and the Octonauts.

Doc should make it to the parks just in time for her show to be cancelled.
