Do you think that Mission:SPACE will last?

Before I begin this thread, let me just say that I love this ride. Don't get me wrong. But I was sitting here reading some more accounts of people dying or being taken to the hospital after experiencing the ride. Does anyone else besides me think that if these occurences continue, Disney will eventually close the ride down for good? Has Disney built an attraction that's too intense for the everyday guest? I'd hate to see it go away....but i wouldn't be surprised if it did. Anyone else? How long do you think it will be around?

:lookaroun

I think the ride will stay because mainly of the amount of money that Disney spent on building the ride. I wouldn't think they'd close an attraction they coughed up tons of money to make after only a few years.

"...only then will we be truely living with the land."

I dont think mission space will go anywhere because its peoples fault there getting hurt on the ride. I have never been on it but somewhere it must say something warning people about what they are going to experience on this ride.

they limit the warning to approximately 2 videos, 2 audio, a cm and 370 signs so its easy to see how people can miss this.

Let us not forget that when there are shorter lines... you are forced, much more quickly, past most of the warnings before you have a chance to read them

Personally, I think the Channel 4 investigative-news team will see to it that Mission: Space never operates again. Before it was just news. This time...it's personal.

Will M:S last? How long are you asking about? For now, yes.. 10 years from now, who knows?? Rides do come and go.. M:S may be one of them.. or, it may stay open as long as some of the other rides in WDW.. and never go anywhere.. So, if your question if will it go away NOW or anytime soon, then no... but in the future, I think it will..
